Elisa Odabashian
Director of the West Coast Office
Elisa Odabashian is the Director of the West Coast Office of Consumers Union. Elisa is a widely-quoted expert on such topics as food safety, product safety, corporate accountability, dietary supplements, California milk prices, and genetically modified organisms. In 2006, Elisa conceived of and helped to design, develop, and implement a computer tool called LobbyLog, which tracks Consumers Union's lobbying activities in all 50 states. She created Consumers Union's advocacy web site at www.consumersunion.org, which launched in 1998. In addition to her advocacy work, Elisa oversees the West Coast Office's budgets and operations. When not at work or on a tennis court, Elisa, along with her partner, Ash McNeely, cares for their teen-aged daughter and son, Elisa’s elderly mom, a golden retriever and two parakeets.
