News on PA Clinical Trials Bill Posted

This piece talks about the clinical trials bill that was introduced in the state last year that would give doctors and consumers information on drug side effects. “They want new laws requiring drug companies to disclose the results of all clinical trials and side effects, both good and bad. The proposals include a Pennsylvania bill that would create a database for each drug sold in the state and enable the state attorney general to prosecute drug makers that don't comply."

It sounds like the drug companies are on the same course as the tobacco industry.
