Good news! Measure 44, which will allow the uninsured in OR to receive discounts on their medications passed on Tuesday. Consumers Union supported this measure, along with groups like Oregonians for Health Security.

As a senior citizen and a volunteer who solicited neighbors for signatures to add this measure to the November ballot, I am very pleased this passed. It's truly a win-win for everyone but big pharma.
