Heat approx. 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan. Chop 4 cloves of garlic (add more or less to your tastes) and add to the oil when it is just warm enough. Chop a large bunch of Swiss Chard and add to oil and garlic. Toss until well coated and cook until heated through. I generally try to use local and/or oganic foods. I live in the North East so it's hard to find local foods after a certain time of year. I do have the advantage of working in NYC and can visit the Union Square Farmer's Market and get ingredients there. Plus, during the summer months there are a plethora of local farmer's markets to choose ingredients from. |
