1 delicata squash Cut delicata squash in half. Remove pulp and seeds. Brush with oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. I first came across delicata squash a few years ago, when I received it in my CSA box from a local farm. They sent it along with a recipe (similar to this one). You can use this recipe for any type of squash but my favorite is delicata by far, or acorn otherwise. Now I buy my winter squash at the farmers' market whenever they are available. It's a perfect fall and winter food! |
