Currently, Morgan Baum serves as Events and Outreach Manager of the Consumers Union External Relations team. Her primary responsibilities include convening meetings with governmental, nonprofit and industry leaders around the country, as well as public outreach around the many strategic goals of Consumers Union.

Morgan joined the Consumers Union team in the fall of 2004 as the Strategic Resource Director (better known as the Director of HearUsNow.org) where she managed a project dedicated to helping to educate the public about the communications and media issues and helping to empower the public to make a difference in the marketplace.

In the summer of 2006 Morgan joined the Online Advocacy Outreach Team in Austin, TX and later in 2007 transitioned to the Advanced Activist Development team. Morgan’s primary responsibilities included managing the organizational-wide Share Your Story Program; coordinating the Consumers Union Activist Summit, and developing consumer volunteer initiatives.

Morgan is a 2001 graduate from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls where she studied political science, Spanish and art.
