Consumers Union supports efforts to enroll children in low- or no-cost health insurance programs through the schools. Our successful Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools (HKHS) project in California works with school districts, nonprofit community-based organizations (CBOs), and government agencies to achieve this purpose.
