Dept. of Transportation letter to Jim Guest on the 50th anniversary of JFK’s call for consumer rights

Letter of congratulations to Jim Guest, Consumer Reports and Consumers International on the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's call for consumer rights. The goals he set forth reflect those of the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA). He called for safer transportation and encouraged government, automakers and allied groups to work together to prevent tragedies on our highways.
