stafford-loans-fact-sheet.pdf | 27.4 kB
April 27, 2012
Students and families in the U.S. are struggling to afford the skyrocketing costs of a
college education, and are now forced to take out record amounts of student loans.
Unless Congress acts soon, subsidized Stafford student loan interest rates will double
from 3.4% to 6.8% on July 1st, 2012, adding thousands in interest costs over the life of a loan.
