National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Report, data summary for 2006 through 2007

This report is a summary of device-associated and procedure-associated module data collected and reported by hospitals participating in the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) from January 2006 through December 2007 as reported to the NHSN by March 24, 2008. This report updates previously published device-associated module data from NHSN and surgical site infection (SSI) rate data from the National Nosocomial Infections Surveillance (NNIS) system.
