With widespread support from Americans tired of forking over $30, $40, $50 dollars each time they pull up to a gas station, lawmakers last week reached a deal to increase fuel efficiency standards.

Lawmakers across the country launched a tool last month to block emails sent through campaign websites. They are treating your emails like spam. How could this possibly be good for democracy?

Buying a house is a lot easier if you know the price. Manufactured homes sit on the lot with no posted price information--and consumers can get shafted.

Thanks to an anonymous poster on SlashDot for information about a strange bill moving forward right here in my home state of Texas. It authorizes a big government database of auto insurance information and RFIDs embedded in car inspection stickers.
